Hadi Type 

The HadiType Foundry showreel 2025 is a motion graphics project created by Ethar EE and Station Seoul under Station Design Collective, showcasing HadiType Studio's Arabic typefaces through innovative animation and design. The project demonstrates how traditional Arabic calligraphy seamlessly merges with modern digital typography, emphasizing that every letterform is crafted with intent to balance heritage with cutting-edge technology. The showreel highlights how HadiType's fonts are engineered with nuance, designed to be responsive to context, and built to adapt across multiple languages and platforms.

The presentation focuses on three key aspects of HadiType's typography philosophy: "Type, Built for the Future" showcases intelligent typography with subtle animations revealing OpenType features and variable axes for enhanced flexibility; "Clear, Readable, Digital-First" demonstrates fonts optimized for screens with precise shapes and adaptive spacing for readability across digital applications; and "Bridging Scripts, Unifying Identities" illustrates how Arabic and Latin scripts flow together harmoniously, complementing rather than competing with each other. The entire showreel was created using Cavalry App and serves as both a portfolio piece and a testament to the foundry's commitment to creating typefaces that honor Arabic calligraphic tradition while meeting the demands of contemporary digital design.
